Filtrete Air Cleaning Filters

These compact-sized air cleaners help clean the air and reduce odors in your work area. 3M™ Office Air Cleaners have a three-stage filter design that includes both Filtrete® Filter media and ionization for airborne particulate removal, and carbon for odor reduction. Filter effectiveness lasts up to three months under normal conditions. 5 year warranty on unit.

ENERGY STAR®

ENERGY STAR Logo 3M™ Office Air Cleaners are ENERGY STAR® qualified. The energy efficiency of the OAC150 and OAC250 is measured based on a ratio between the model's Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) for Dust and the electrical energy it consumes, or CADR/Watt. Products that earn the ENERGY STAR prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. CARB

All portable indoor air cleaning devices sold in California after October 18, 2010 must be certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). 3M™ Office Air Cleaners OAC150 and OAC250 have been tested for electrical safety and ozone emissions, meet an ozone emission concentration limit of 0.050 parts per million, and are ARB certified.

What is CADR?

The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of an air purifier is the measurement of the volume of filtered air that is delivered by a portable air purifier. CADR is determined by a uniform standard, and the ratings describe how effective the purifier is at reducing three common indoor air pollutants: tobacco smoke, pollen and dust.
